MR SATWINDER R REEL – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Sati’s career in aeronautical engineering officially began in 1971. Now with almost 40 years experience, he is the Managing Director of Phoenix Aviation and personally heads the Engineering Department. He holds licenses from C.A.A. UK, F.A.A., K.C.A. (Kenya Civil Aviation), TZ C.A. (Tanzania Civil Aviation) and U.C.A. (Uganda Civil Aviation). He is licensed on the Citation Excel C560, all Cessnas, Pipers, Beech Craft, Lycoming and continental engines, as well as turbo props on Cessna Conquest and Garrett engines. He has also completed a flight engineer’s course on the Boeing 707. Sati is the only Engineer in Kenya qualified to work on the Citation Bravo (A Pratt & Whitney 530 Engine Series). He has worked in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and South Africa, including pre purchase inspections of aircraft for clients throughout the world.
STEVE PARKINSON – DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL PROJECTS
Steve has been flying commercially for more than 25 years with flying experience which extends from America to Europe and throughout much of Africa. He has worked for Air Europe, Lauda Air, Air Kenya and Regional Air (British Airways Franchise) during his flying career.
He holds British, Kenyan, American and Austrian flying licenses and has qualified on numerous aircraft and helicopters, including the Citation Excel C560, most Piper and Cessna single engine aircraft; Cessna 404, 401, 402, and 310; Beechcraft P58, B58, and B55; Douglas DC 3; Super King Air BE350, B200C; Citation Bravo CE550; Boeing 737, 200-400 Series (including 1500 hrs as an instructor); Dash 7; Bell Jet Ranger 111; and Hughes 300C helicopters.
With more than 16,500 accumulated flying hours, Steve is a dedicated and experienced pilot who knows what it takes to get you there safely, comfortably and on time.
