Pilot Mike inspecting Bravo Caravan Cockpit

Your safety is our main concern. No other private aviation company in East Africa can match the Phoenix Aviation experience, training or commitment to safety. To ensure they have the best, most current training available, our pilots train with active company pilots on simulators featuring cockpit configurations identical to those of our fleet.

With combined flying hours in excess of 200,000, our 22 pilots have the training and experience necessary to make flying with Phoenix relaxed and enjoyable. At Phoenix, your safety comes first and foremost.

Our jets are all equipped with state-of-the-art avionics, including Traffic Collision and Alert Avoidance Systems (TCAS II) and Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Systems (EGPWS). They are JAR OPS compliant, which includes the latest Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM).

Quality Policy and Assurance
We endeavour to foster a quality culture which focuses on customer service, safety and security by constantly striving to improve our aircraft and work practices. Our quality assurance programme is a system of planned, systematic and documented procedures designed to satisfy both the Kenya Civil Aviation Board and Authority that flight operations, ground operations and engineering functions are being conducted in accordance with the Air Operators Certificate and European JAR-OPS standards – for more details please don’t hesitate to call us.

We have received safety accreditations and approvals from numerous recognized international bodies, which include:

  • ISO-9001/2008 (International Organization for Standardization) under the scope of supply for provision of domestic, regional and international charter flights, aircraft maintenance and worldwide medical air ambulance charter for both UKAS (UK accreditation) and ANAB (US accreditation). We are the only fixed wing charter company in East Africa currently holding this particular accreditation
  • CARB (Commercial Airlift Review Board)
  • Wyvern International approved
  • HART Aviation
  • IAS UK and SA
  • EURAMI in partnership with AMREF Flying Doctors – the first non-US, non-European air rescue provider to receive this accreditation.
