Defibrillator Training for Phoenix Staff
The team at Phoenix were recently provided with a training session by Mildred Adhola, ICU Nurse and Trainer with AMREF Flying Doctors, on the use of the company’s two new defibrillators.
The automated external defibrillator or AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the potentially life threatening cardiac arrhythmias in a patient. The device is able to treat these symptoms through an electrical therapy that stops the arrhythmia and allows the heart to re-establish a rhythm.
The AED defibrillators are yet another example of Phoenix’s ongoing mission and commitment to ensure the highest quality of equipment, service and training in medical evacuations and air charters.
