In our mission to maintain the highest standards of flight safety, we have recently purchased 8 First Aid Kits. These kits will be carried on all of our jet fleets, King Air BE350 and rotated on a 'need’ basis on passenger charter flights on the Caravan C208 and King Air B200s.
These kits contain tested and approved items that meet or exceed Transport Canada’s Canadian Aviation Regulations to facilitate survival and rescue. They are intended for commercial aircraft and have supplies to sustain ten people for seven days. More specifically, they contain first aid medical supplies and various means of food, water, fire, and shelter; for example, this kit includes not only Mainstay water, but also the means for purification, as well as hot chocolate, coffee and tea.
All of our crew and cabin crew have been trained in First Aid and undergo periodic refresher courses to ensure their knowledge and skills are up to date. At Phoenix Aviation, your safety is our top priority.
